The TesiraForte training class took three days at the Biamp headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The in-person training was more advanced than the online classes and went into much greater detail - especially on the logic. We had a homework project which took about five hours to complete. In addition, a one hour bonus assignment was added during the class. This is the group in our anti-static garb ready for the tour of the factory.
AMX offers Design Certification (ACE-D) among others. Core Curriculum is a prerequisite for this certification. It's mostly AV theory well organized and logical.
Just completed the How Sound Systems Work training with Synergetic Audio Concepts. It did an excellent job at covering industry terminology that is sometimes confusing. For example, is it called a Driver, Speaker, Cabinet, Transducer, etc.
Completed on October 15, 2015, the online class is about software. "Toolbox" is a Crestron software package, which contains a multitude of applications that enable configuration and diagnostics of any Crestron device. This tutorial explains each tool and describes the features available for communication with control systems, touch panels and other devices.
